Richard Gingerella

Richard Natale Gingerella, 79, formerly of Rhody Drive Westerly, RI, died peacefully on Thursday March 14, 2024. He was the beloved husband of Gloria (Day) Gingerella.

Born in Westerly, RI on January 10, 1945 he was the son of the late Natale J. and Louise (Scarpa) Gingerella.
Richard was employed at Electric Boat in Groton, CT for many years before his retirement. He enjoyed spending time at his home, cooking, tanning by the pool and most importantly spending time with his beloved family. He also, had been an Volunteer at the Westerly Hospital for many years.

Besides his loving and devoted wife he will be sadly missed by his son, Jared Gingerella and his wife Brianna of Westerly, RI and his two step daughters, Lisa Corchinski of FL and Jennifer Fleck of Westerly, RI.
He was the loving grandfather of Raelyn Gingerella. He was predeceased by his sister, Natalie Gingerella.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday March 19, 2024 at 11:00 AM, at the Buckler-Johnston Funeral Home, 121 Main St. Westerly, RI. A calling hour will precede the service from 10-11a.m. Burial will follow in St. Sebastian Cemetery, Westerly, RI.
